- What: Your Google Gemini API key
- How: Entered manually by you in the extension
- Storage: Stored locally on your device only using Chrome's storage API
- Purpose: To authenticate API requests for text summarization
2. Summary History
- What: Your previous text summaries and timestamps
- How: Automatically saved when you generate a summary
- Storage: Stored locally on your device only (maximum 50 entries)
- Purpose: To provide quick access to your summary history
3. Web Page Content
- What: Text content from web pages you choose to summarize
- How: Extracted only when you click "Summarize"
- Processing: Sent directly to Google's Gemini API for summarization
- Storage: NOT stored by our extension
How We Use Your Information
- API Key: Used only to authenticate with Google's Gemini API
- Summary History: Displayed in the extension's history tab for your convenience
- Web Page Content: Sent to Gemini API only when you request a summary
Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's
chrome.storage.local API
- No data is sent to our servers (we don't have any servers)
- Your API key is never shared with any third parties except Google's Gemini API
- Web page content is only sent to Google's Gemini API when you explicitly request a summary

- We use Google's Gemini API to generate text summaries
- When you request a summary, the text content is sent to Google's servers

- We do not control how Google processes this data
Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Delete your API key: Click the "Show/Hide" button and clear the input field
- Delete summary history: Click the delete button on individual entries or clear all history
- Stop using the extension: Uninstall the extension to remove all stored data
Data Deletion
To delete all your data:
- Open the extension side panel
- Delete your API key from the settings
- Clear all summary history
- Uninstall the extension from
chrome://extensions/
All data will be permanently deleted from your device.
Children's Privacy
This extension is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy

데이터 삭제
모든 데이터를 삭제하려면:

- 모든 요약 이력 지우기

모든 데이터가 귀하의 기기에서 영구적으로 삭제됩니다.
아동의 개인정보
본 확장 프로그램은 13세 미만의 사용자를 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 13세 미만 아동의 정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
